My Experience

Japanese Buffet? YEAP! But it's not your usual japanese buffet, Suki-ya offers a very different experience. They don't serve sushi, sashimi, tempayaki and all, I mean they do, but it's not buffet style. At Suki-ya, you'll be given a choice of lamb, beef, chicken or all the above. They serve these meat thin-sliced. And their meat is "all-you-can-eat" meat. They will come in 3 plates for you, for each of the meat, but you can add more if you want to.So if you're a meaty person, or wanna gain some weight like I am, this is the place for you.

Had an awesome time! :)

You can check out the price. It's pretty reasonable I would say.

This area is also buffet style, they have meat balls, toufu, vegetables and mushrooms. You can make your soup more tasty with other ingredients there.

The sauces available. At every table, they explain the sauce and what it is made of. Each sauce brings a whole different feeling to your meat.

At your table, you would also be asked what soup base do you want. There is sukiyaki, shabu shabu, miso soup and kimuchi. We chose sukiyaki and miso.

Here comes the meat!!! Wohoo! Love the beef the most :)

One interesting thing to share. The traditional way of eating this is to boil the meat, dip it in raw egg and then eat it. Hmmmm, I didn't enjoy the raw egg part though. Not really used to it...

And the ice-cream! A choice of green tea or chocolate. They have different flavours on different days. Nothing fancy, simple and nice :)

My friends and I!

What others say?
