Mr. Dakgalbi, Citta Mall, Ara Damansara

Image
About the Place G-29, Citta Mall Ara Damansara  (Opposite Stick House) My Experience Located in one of the corners in Citta Mall, Mr. Dakgalbi was not easy to spot. But thanks to the 2 staffs giving out flyers and inviting us in, we decided to give it a try. Mr. Dakgalbi is not new, it has already established its name in KL (Mont Kiara and Bukit Bintang), which seems quite popular. The restaurant was big and therefore ventilation was good (I don’t think I want to be in a small smoky room). At the end of the meal, we didn’t smell like we were soaked in Korean BBQ smoke. We ordered the normal chicken set for 2 people and added on the ramen: All in all, the good was okay, nothing bad, acceptable. But I would prefer Uncle Jang (Puchong) over this.  What others say? About the Place No,1-1, Jalan Puteri 1/7, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Malaysia (Next to Giant) Contact no.:  03-8051 2208 Facebook:  http://www.facebook.com/UncleJang Other branches: Ampang & Mont Kiara My Experience This is my second visit to Uncle Jang, first visit here: Uncle Jang's 1st visit . I decided to visit there again because I found out that many people on the internet land on this page and I really regret for not providing more information and pictures about the place. I just started blogging not long at that time. So, here's a post with my standard format and more pictures!  One thing I love best is the noodles with the Dak Galbi. The sauce that was mixed into the cabbage and chicken was so good when eaten with the noodles. Absolutely love it. However, I cannot really take spicy food and yeah, it's a lil too spicy for me. You can actually choose the level of spiciness you want. This is the lowest, but still :( Had quite a hard time ...

Da Chang Jin 大长今 Korean BBQ Restaurant, Taipan USJ 10

It was funny how my family and I ended up in da chang jin actually. I was craving for Maggie soup that is not made at home... And so my parents also headache, going round taipan thinking what to eat, and we passed by da chang jin and yay! I know they would definitely have Maggie with soup! So we ordered one pot of kimchi soup with noodles and shared. My parents and sis didnt really like the food. I guess I'm the only one eating until super shiok. They were like eating for the sake of eating. Anyway, I loved it, if you're craving for Maggie Mee not made at home, and you have a larger budget or ur parents are with u, try korean Maggie! :p Not a bad advice huh..

Korean street food & J.Co Donuts and Coffee

I had quite a few challenging days because I was working 9-5.30, reach home around 6.30 (Fastest), then leave hse for dance at 7.30, then come home only at 1-2am. In conclusion, hehe... I had to have dessert.. So I went to pyramid and have a very light dinner to leave space for dessert. Korean street food was not nice I can say. I ordered their BBQ chicken rice and their chicken not fresh at all. I can totally taste at my first bite that the chicken was bad.. :( but the heavy taste BBQ sauce covered it up a lil. Anyway, highlight is, I head to J.Co! I know this may sound dramatic. But when ur having bad days, and ntg u do can cheer urself up, dessert is the thing! :) I almost cried eating the pest bite of my donut. Like wow.. All the bad days just went away! :) :) :) Happy!!!! Okay.. Here's the bad chicken and the awesome donuts picture! :)

Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant, Bandar Puteri Puchong

2nd visit to Uncle Jang here.  I need to start this post by saying, my high school friends are a fan of Korean everything. Most of my meals with them would be Korean food. Lol! So, they found a restaurant that serves Korean food in a very different concept. Most ppl will picture Korean food as having a BBQ area, then meat, then side dishes and kimchi... But this restaurant, has a slightly different concept. The concept of the whole restaurant is exactly how most restaurant will look in Korea (I've been there before, am not really sure, but it's conclusion drawn from my trip there) the restaurant reminds me alot of Korea. The food there is simple and nice, it basically just vegetables noodles and rice. Simple yet, preserves the "Korean" taste. I was told by my tour guide during my Korea trip that eating meat is Korea is quite a luxury. Ppl eat alot of vegetable plus rice in Korea. Good food with awesome friends. Enjoyed the meal! :)

Seoul Palace, USJ 19 Mall

My family and I went there today because my bro is craving for Korean food! One thing I really like about the place is that we sit on the floor like the usual Korean restaurants, but they provided a seat that they put on the floor that has a back rest! So it was really comfortable.. Designed for lazy ppl like me! Anyway, the food. Yeap! The food was awesome and this is actually the first time ordering so much meat! We had 3-4 BBQ meat, 2 soups, 2 rice, 1 fish, 2 pancakes, plus all the side dishes.. It was unusual for us to over order, but oh well, it's nice seeing so much food on the table! But yeah.. We had a really hard time finishing them.. :) pictures!!
