My Experience
It was a quite difficult to locate the place as the way in doesn't look like the way in at all. So as long as you are on the road and you see shell station, make a "upturn" up the slope on your next left. There's only jockey parking available at this place cause parking is too limited there.
We were the first few customers there that night, the 3 of us. So we were joking about how this place was so difficult to get to that some people might just not find it.
Here are our orders for the night:
Complimentary Appetizer:
I kinda thought it was Wasabi on the top there, but it was blended vegetable I guess. A simply light taste to start our meal.
1) House-smoked salad-trout, Petunia, Lemon and Chive Cream Parmesan Crackers and Aragula Salad (totally copied this from the menu)
RM 36
This dish was really good, I love how the crackers feels with the soft, smooth salmon.
2) Pan-fried Hokkaido Scallops, Roasted Capsicum Collis and Grilled Duck Breast
RM 80
I had scallops for my main course. Absolutely love it. The scallops were fresh, and the salty duck breast adds a light salty taste to the scallops. Together with the creamy sauce, it was just great.
3) Pan-fried Atlantic Cod Fillet, Lemon and Capers Beurre Blanc, Fresh Spinach
RM 79
4) Valrhona Dark Chocolate Lava Cake, Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream
RM 25
A cake that melted my heart :)
5) Cold Strawberry Soup, Basil Sorbet, and Almond Crisp
RM 23
This is really a special dessert. We 3 stepped out of our comfort zone and decided to have this. The strawberry soup is like a juice-jam-sorbet combination. Add the basil sorbet did not taste weird at all. It tasted really fresh. Will definitely order this again the next time I come.
All in all, the environment was great. Good for a night of chilling and hanging out. It is really suitable for a date night too. The billed totalled to about RM 150-200 per person (We had wine as well)
So, great ambience, Great ppl, plus Cute-probably-french-waiter :)
