My Experience
Many of my friends are turning 21 this year. And it's really great to go out for a nice meal to celebrate this big day with them. This time, my friend chose Opus Bistro to celebrate her birthday, and it was the right choice :). The staff there are used to doing occasions like that such as birthdays, business dinners or family dinners, so I guess they already knew what to do and you didn't have to repeat anything twice. They were all really sharp. The atmosphere was definitely cozy and comfortable. I heard many good reviews on Opus Bistro and the whole bangkung row, but this is my first time trying it. 



 Opus’ Special Seafood Antipasti Platter @ RM45. So this is the must order at Opus. No doubt, it was good. The calamari was fresh and the sauce served together with it just compliment its taste. The grilled scallops were good too. And the clams was really fresh. All in all, the seafood platter was really fresh.

The bday girl's Roasted Cod @ RM58. The meat of the cod fish was so soft and fresh that it literally melts in your mouth. The sauce did not overtake the taste of the fish but compliments it so it preserves the original taste of the cod fish. 



Linguini Aglio Olio with Smoked Duck.

This is my dish. It's prawn something. It's a new dish so its not on their menu in the website. 
Anyway, this dish was superb. The taste of the fresh prawn was absorb by the sauce and the pasta. The sweetness of the fresh prawn really lingers in my mouth after awhile. Really like this dish. 

This is their steak serve with red wine and pink peppercorn. All of us on the table were really curious about the pink peppercorn and so we tried it. And, we all didn't like it. I personally felt that the pink peppercorn just took over the taste of the beef and the red wine. So, I couldn't taste very genuine beef. 

Spaghetti Carbonara . It was just okay. Nothing really special to talk about. 

Our meal was also paired with white wine. I don't know much about wine so, I don't even know what's its name or year. :p

At the end of our meal, the red velvet cupcakes from wondermilk is served! 

A great way to end our meal :)
